Tax Positions

 


What the role involves: 

  • Providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Working on a variety of corporate transactions such as due diligence and refinancing projects
  • Working with senior managers and directors on tax advisory projects
  • Developing tax knowledge of technical tax developments and changes, both local and international
  • Working closely with audit and advisory departments on certain projects 
  • Reviewing the work of junior colleagues and providing coaching to improve knowledge and ability
  • Motivating team members and acting as performance manager to a number of team members to include career guidance to all members of the team 

 

Candidate requirements:

  • Appropriate professional qualification – ACA/CTA/ACCA
  • At least 3 years' post qualification experience in either a UK or Channel Islands tax team
  • Corporate tax experience 
  • Excellent written skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and people development skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic
  • Language requirements – strong spoken, listening and written English
